Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation is accepting applications for projects that help youth with disabilities develop leadership and employment skills. Emphasis on innovative programs related to careers in STEM or environmental fields. Projects may also focus on breaking down barriers to employment for youth with disabilities, including veterans. Awards range from $10,000 to $75,000 for one to three years. Youth with disabilities must be engaged alongside their peers without disabilities to demonstrate full inclusion. Successful projects will lead to measurable employment outcomes. MEAF supports youth from birth through age 26. Nonprofits with national programs or clear plans for disseminating and replicating models on a national scale are eligible to apply. Concept papers are due by June 1.
